Upcoming Fall Hikes

Join us for two upcoming hikes, one for advanced/adventurers and the second welcomes all abilities:

October 24 at 12n

Advanced hike at Shaw-Denham Memorial Forest hosted by the Attleboro Land Trust volunteer Gary on Sunday, October 24th. This walk is for explores at heart, and will be ~5 miles in distance based on the groups level of experience.
Parking at Hill-Roberts elementary school, 80 Roy Avenue Attleboro, meet at 12 noon. Be sure to pack water and wear hiking shoes.

 

November, 26th at 10am

Hike the forests, fields, and wetlands of Oak Knoll for Mass Audubon’s Hike-a-thon weekend. We’re challenging you to get outside and hike 1.25 miles the last weekend in November in celebration of our 125th anniversary of protecting the nature of Massachusetts. Ditch the crowds and enjoy the mental and physical benefits of hiking outdoors as you learn about the natural world from our expert guide. Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary is one of Attleboro’s “Hike Attleboro” destinations!
Expect to travel even trails at a leisurely pace that is perfect for hikers of all ages and abilities. For more details and other ways to enrich your hiking, visit massaudubon.org/hikeathon.
